About The Farm Kitchen
The Farm Kitchen is a nature-inclusive food company based in the Netherlands. They create delicious soil-to-plate food experiences, working with local regenerative farmers and next-generation chefs.
Through their restaurant in Hoofddorp, and cooking studios and events throughout the Netherlands, they inspire foodies to cook and eat the yummiest plant-based food on earth made with fresh in-season ingredients as Mother Nature intended.
The Challenge
The Farm Kitchen team had a purpose but needed a clearer strategy, a new website, and content to communicate their multi-faceted brand story. With three sub-brands, a diverse B2B and B2C audience ranging from foodies to farmers, chefs, and sustainability-driven companies the strategy would help them align all activities to further grow the business.
What we did
Working with The Farm Kitchen team in global village, we did the following:
- Conducted Personal PX™ workshops for the two co-founders to define their values and purpose to ensure they were incorporated into the company story
- Simplified the Company PX™ and portfolio strategy to Good Soil, Good Food, and Good People and the proprietary Adopt a Hectare and Earth’s Own Cuisine initiatives
- Translated the strategy into an updated brand book and guidelines across key brand assets and touchpoints
- Inspired the creation of new brand assets such as new photography and The Farm Kitchen cookbook
- Worked with a nutritionist to validate the nutrient-rich profile and health benefits of The Farm Kitchen’s core food concepts
- Developed a dual-language website and copy targeting the brand’s diverse B2B and B2C audience
- Created social media content and engaging videos to tell the brand story
The Result
In a matter of months, The Farm Kitchen had a new strategy, website, cookbook, social media, and video content which all aligned to Good Soil, Good Food, and Good People.
“The Markd Global approach has helped clarify our vision and purpose to inspire a world where the food we eat doesn’t cost the earth but enriches it. Our business model, operations, and marketing are now all working together to nurture good soil, good food, and good people.
Through the global village, we were able to develop a new website, create new videos, and social media marketing with impressive results and more cost-effectively than if we’d worked in a traditional model.”
